Philips announced the B1TC and B1TFL business touch screen monitors.
The new B1TC series includes two models, the 23.8 inches (60.5 cm) 242B1TC and the 21.5 inches (54.6 cm) 222B1TC.
Both are based on in-cell touch (AIT) technology and projected capacitive touch to improve transmission and response time for up to 10 points of touch experience at the same time. In-Cell Touch technology offers a slim three-sided frameless design, and IPS technology promises a wide viewing angle. Besides, all models are plug-and-play compatible with different versions of Windows 10, Android, and Linux.
The new B1TFL series consists of four models: 23.8 inch (60.5 cm) 242B1TFL, 21.5 inch (54.6 cm) 222B1TFL, 17 inch (43.2 cm) 172B1TFL, and 15 inch (38.1 cm) 152B1TFL. All of these feature Projective Capacitive Touch (P-Cap) technology, which makes it easy to detect ten fingertips at a time, providing smooth responsiveness. This technology works with gloves and fingers, making it versatile and suitable for public spaces.
Another particular feature is end-to-end scratch-resistant coated glass. This is essential for a safe and long-lasting touch experience and easy cleaning and disinfection indoors and outdoors. The display also features additional brightness from 350 nits (242B1TFL) to 450 nits (152B1TFL) and an anti-glare coating that can be used comfortably in bright light or sunlight. All four models are IP65 rated (front only) and have sealed foam on the sides to protect them from water and dust.
