Simon Cowell will Appear as The First Guest on Jennifer Hudson’s Talk Show
With a throwback, Jennifer Hudson is launching her daytime chat show! The EGOT recipient and former American Idol judge Simon Cowell will return on the debut episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show, it was revealed on Friday. They won’t have spoken since she finished seventh in the singing competition series’ third season in 2004 during the reunion.
It would be “wonderful” for Hudson to reconnect with the Idol judge who gave her career a boost, she told Dallas television station KERA-TV last month.
She said, “I think it would be very interesting. “Why not? Idol was 18 years ago. Those who have followed my path for the past 20 years should find this interesting. Watch us sit down and talk to one another. That, in my opinion, would be fantastic to carry out.”
“It then goes, “Uh-huh!” Simon, you’re currently seated on my couch! “She continued. He is therefore among the many things on my want list.
The day of the show’s debut, September 12, is also Hudson’s 41st birthday. The episode will have several happy occasions and significant surprises to honour the occasion.
Celebrity interviews, news segments, profiles of local heroes, viral videos, and music will all be featured on The Jennifer Hudson Show. Hudson made the following promises to fans in earlier series promos: “Quality, you’re going to get honesty, you’re going to get all of my heart, and don’t forget the fun.”

In addition to Shani Black of Red Table Talk, executive producers include Hudson, Lisa Kasteler Calio, Graehme Morphy, and Walter Williams III.
Hudson expressed her happiness at the news of the continuation of the series in a statement when it was announced in March. She said that she has “experienced so much in my life; I’ve seen the highest of the highs, the lowest of the lows, and pretty much everything in between, but as my mother always told me, ‘Once you think you’ve seen it all, just keep on living.'”
As she continued, she said, “People from all over the world have been a part of my journey from the beginning – twenty years ago – and I’m so excited to join their journey as we sit down and talk about the things that inspire and motivate us all. “I’ve always had a profound love for people, and I can’t wait to share that with the public as I let them to see the various facets of my humanity. And I’m ecstatic to work with this outstanding group of people to accomplish it. We’re going to have a great time and mix things up a little bit!”
